Free HR calculators for Turkish labour law
Three tools, three frequent questions: how many days of annual leave, how much overtime pay, how many hours were worked this week. Calculations follow the relevant articles of Turkish Labour Law No. 4857 and the same rules as our workforce management product’s own engine. No sign-up; what you enter never leaves your browser.
Calculators
Each calculator sits with a guide that explains the rule: you see the result and read the reasoning on the same page.
Annual leave calculator
The statutory minimum leave from the start date and date of birth: 14, 20 or 26 days; at least 20 days at age 18 or under and 50 or over; +4 days underground (art. 53).
CalculateOvertime pay calculator
Hourly rate from gross monthly pay, the +25% and +50% bands, premium pay and time off in lieu (art. 41). Part-time contracts and underground mining included.
CalculateWorking hours calculator
Net working time from the week’s clock-in and clock-out times, the legal minimum break, the 11-hour and 7.5-hour night limits, overtime hours (arts. 63, 68, 69).
CalculateWhat are the calculations based on?
Every rule in the calculators is the same rule used by the timesheet and leave engine of our workforce management product. Because two copies can drift apart silently, about 2,300 sample inputs are run through both this page’s calculation and the product’s own calculation before every release; a single difference stops the release.
Where a rule is not written in the law, we say so: dividing monthly pay by 225 hours (30 days × 7.5 hours) is settled payroll practice and does not appear in Law 4857. For a part-time contract the divisor shrinks with the contractual weekly hours.
The dates and pay you enter are never sent to any server; the calculation runs in your browser. The page’s security policy also blocks connections to outside addresses.
- Annual leave: Law 4857 art. 53 (service bands, age, underground work) — the first entitlement arises after one year.
- Overtime: Law 4857 art. 41 (45-hour week, +50%; +25% where the contract is below 45 hours; underground mining 37.5 hours and at least +100%).
- Working hours: Law 4857 art. 63 (45 hours, 11 hours a day), art. 68 (rest breaks), art. 69 (7.5 hours at night).

Calculators: frequently asked questions
Are these calculators free, and do I need to sign up?
Yes, they are free and need no sign-up. The calculation runs in your browser; the dates and pay you enter are not sent to any server and are gone when you close the page.
Can the results be used directly in payroll?
The result shows the statutory minimum and is for information only. Your employment or collective agreement may contain more favourable terms, and tax and social security deductions are made separately in payroll. Check with your accountant before entering it in payroll.
Where do the calculation rules come from?
From articles 41, 53, 63, 68 and 69 of Turkish Labour Law No. 4857 and from our product’s calculation engine, which applies the same rules. The only rule not written in the law is dividing monthly pay by 225 hours; this is settled payroll practice and the page says so.
How do I report a result I think is wrong?
Use the phone number or email address on our contact page and write the values you entered and the result you expected. We compare the rule with its source article and, if it is wrong, fix the calculator and the product together.
